University Theatre Soltuions
Equip your department to work safely with intimate scenes.
The Challenge
Intimacy Direction has quickly become an industry standard and is used from Broadway to storefront theatre. The ability to work consensually and with intimacy professionals is now, more than ever, a must-have skill set.
Students are demanding the inclusion of consent-based practices within their programs, and many university instructors are struggling to find the resources and training they need to support their students.
Changing ingrained departmental culture requires ongoing reinforcement and commitment from the entire department.
Our Solutions
Step 1) Generate Momentum with Faculty/Staff and Student Workshops. IDC workshops introduce consent-based tools and vocabulary across the department. Request a Workshop.

Student Workshops
Students receive an introduction to staging intimacy from the perspective of the actor. These workshops offer students the tools to approach basic intimacy practice including consensual-based working, creating and containing chemistry, communication, and choreography.
