(Level 1 and Level 2) (Updated February 2022)
This course is designed to be taken synchronously, meaning you will be working at the same pace as the rest of the class. Live video sessions will be recorded and you can watch them later if you do need to miss a class, but break out room discussions won’t be included. If you do miss class, it is your responsibility to watch the recording and complete all assignments. IDC does not take attendance in online level 1 and 2 courses, but instead relies on adult learners to take responsibility for their own growth and learning.
During the live Zoom classes students are gaining important skills such as being present with difficult material, interpersonal communication skills, the articulation of new thoughts and experiences to others, community building, and emotional and intellectual regulation. These are skills that are fundamental to being a successful intimacy professional and Consent Forward Artist, and are therefore heavily evaluated during your application to Level 3. Missing too many live sessions may impact your learning, and therefore negatively affect your application to Level 3.
(Level 3 - ID and IC) (Updated February 2022)
The location for Level 3 in-person workshops will be announced when Level 3 applications are launched. Travel to the three (3) in-person weekend workshops for Level 3 is the responsibility of the student. IDC does not cover travel, housing or any other costs related to the Level 3 training.

*NOTE: This is for course sessions that are cancelled by IDC.
(Updated May 2022) Should a class within an active course be canceled due to an instructor’s inability to teach that particular class, the class session will be canceled for all registered participants and rescheduled for a “makeup session.” Registered participants that are not able to attend the makeup session will be provided a recording of the makeup session and expected to notify their instructors once they have watched the recording. Any homework assigned to participants during this makeup session will be required for ALL participants, whether they attend the makeup session synchronously or asynchronously. NOTE: A participant’s inability to attend the makeup session will in NO WAY affect their ability to complete the course or be eligible for future levels within the certification pathway.
As a result of IDC’s offering of makeup sessions, class cancellations due to instructor emergencies will not result in/constitute a refund to any participants. Any refund requested as a result of a class that has been rescheduled for a makeup session will be denied.
For more information on when refunds are approved and approved timeframes, please refer to IDC’s Cancellation Policy.

Unfortunately, no. All of our past courses and recordings were removed from our system as we’ve made a full move to The Consent Studio. Participants are given access to course recordings and course materials for 7 days after the last recording is posted. In that time and throughout the course duration, it is the participant’s responsibility to save any documents or links they wish to download.
-
No. Due to the vulnerable content and the privacy of your cohort members, we are unable to allow participants to download any course recordings.
