Marcus Watson (he/him/his) is an intimacy coordinator, intimacy director, fight director, actor, movement specialist, and teaching artist with over a decade of experience in NYC.
Marcus came to this work through fight direction and working with Alicia Rodis, with whom he apprenticed under. He pulls techniques from his background in acting, stage combat, gymnastics, mime, and dance to ensure that the story being told is clear and intentional.

He also has 15 years experience teaching children of all ages the disciplines of gymnastics, theater, stage combat, art, and swimming. He believes it is never too early to learn the principles of consent or to have a sense of agency.

Marcus has taught intimacy/consent workshops for theater and dance companies alike. His on stage violence and intimacy direction credits include Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, as well as regional theaters in the Northeast. Intimacy coordinating credits include HULU, Netflix, STARZ, Showtime, Miramax, The CW, HBO productions, as well as independent films.
